CFF-A is alumina based ceramic foam filter which are used for temperatures up to a limit of 1100℃. CFF-A is most suited for the filtration of aluminum, aluminum alloys and other nonferrous for foundry and metallurgical applications. The filters can easily be placed into filtration boxes, holding furnaces, filtering cups, etc.
CFF-A are available in many standard and custom sizes, shapes, and pore sizes.

The developed rare-earth element-added matrix ceramic foam filter (CFF-ZR) can be used in CONTIROD or SCR copper continuous casting technology.
